Rules
The basic idea of these 5 vs 5 and 3 vs 3 games is to have fun while playing always with a good spirit.


General rules 5 vs 5 soccer and 3 vs 3 soccer
  • Players can use unlimitedly the boards to shoot, to dribble, to make a pass or to move.
  • 5 vs 5 : 2 teams with 4 players plus a goal keeper.
  • 3 vs 3 : 2 teams with 3 players.

Simplified rules
  • The ball don’t go out and there is no touch, corners don’t exist.
  • No offside.

Facilities

  • Shin pads are suggested.
  • A sport outfit is compulsory for all players.

Ball
  • Size 5.
  • Size 4 - Normal ou Futsal - (Game less fast).
  • Size 3 for kids.
  • You can also bring your own ball.

3 games suggested

  1. The bands are an integral part of the game but the ball is out when it touches the net.
  2. The bands and the net are an integral part of the game, the game is faster and barely stops.
  3. The bands and the net are an integral part of the game except the net behind the goal, which will then be considered out.

Games suggested
  • Match between 2 teams with substitute or not.
  • “NEXT” from 3 teams and more. Team scored 2 goals stay on the field.
  • Tennis-soccer, a net is available on special demand.

Goal
  • The goal counts when the ball has entirely crossed the line.
  • The goal doesn’t count if you are in your own half part of the field.

Goalkeeper
  • He can’t pick up the ball with his hands unless the pass is made from head or chest.

Substitution
  • Unlimited substitution.
  • Substitution only when the game is stopped.

Security
  • Tackles and dangerous games are strictly forbidden for the players’ safety. Physical contacts are forbidden.
  • It’s really important that your shoes don’t leave any trail on the bands and the fields.
  • Jewels or personal effects are forbidden if they can hurt anybody during the game.
  • Against the walls, a player can not force his respected, free hit for the other team.

Accurate Behavior rules
  • It’s strictly forbidden to spit out on the field.
  • It’s strictly forbidden to throw his gum away inside the soccer center.
  • Players should keep their tee-shirt underneath the number.


Fouls


Free kick
  • You have to play indirectly the free kicks.
  • Player should have to be at least at 3 meters away from the ball (10 feet).

List of fouls punished by a free kick
  • Hand foul
  • Inaccurate behavior
  • Obstruction

Penalty shoot
  • Penalty with one foot momentum.
  • No coming back after you hit the penalty.

  • The goalkeeper picks up the ball with his hands unless the pass is made from head or chest
  • Tackles (slide tackle)
  • Dangerous game
  • Anti-sportive behavior

Security Rules for soccer 5 vs 5 and 3 vs 3
  • Warm-up before playing
  • Be fair-play
  • Heart patient and pregnant women should not play.
  • Planète Soccer insures its own personal liability and suggests you to have your own personal insurance.
  • Players acknowledge having seeing a doctor recently and being capable of playing soccer 5 vs 5 and 3 vs 3 in competition or freely.


Leagues


How man players?

5 vs 5 leagues :
- 5 players in a team but actually 4 players and 1 goalkeeper, with a maximum of 3 substitutes per team (so 8 players maximum in a team)

3 vs 3 leagues :
- 3 players in a team, no goalkeeper, with a maximum of 2 substitutes per team (so 5 players maximum in a team)


How long for?

5 vs 5 leagues :
- A compulsory 5 minute-warm-up before the game. The game is divided into two 25-minute-periods. Half-time is 5 minutes maximum.

3 vs 3 leagues :
- A compulsory 5 minute-warm-up before the game. The game is divided into three 15-minute-periods.


Organization

6 Weeks :
- 1 group with 4 teams during 3 matches back and forth for 6 games - 1 match / week- same day, same hour.

12 Weeks :
- 1 group with 6 teams during 5 matches back and forth for 10 regular games - 2 weeks of playoff, the 5th and 6th team rank have a last match back and forth, for the other 4 teams semi-final and final - 1 match / week- same day, same hour.

24 Weeks :
- In the first part regular game 1 group with 8 teams during 7 matches back and forth for 14 matches - in 2nd part the first 4 teams are group A and the rest are group B during 3 matches back and forth for each group there are 6 matches - 4 weeks of playoff, 1/4, 1/2 and final for all the teams. In 1/4 final back and forth : the 1st team plays against the 2nd one of the other group and the 3rd team plays against the 4th one of the other group - 1 match / week - week- same day, same hour.


Facilities for the leagues
  • Each player has to wear the same coloured number, substitute or permanent, with their own t-shirt underneath. We will provide some if needed.

Referee
  • Respect the referee! He is the authority and he takes the decisions.
  • No respect for excess. He decides when to whistle, when to stop the game and when to report fouls. The referee can send a player off for 3 minutes for huge faults or any protest. He can also decide to send him off for the rest of the game. In case of insult, physical or violent acts towards the referee or any other player, the player will be definitely evicted from the league and even from Planète Soccer.
